Ecton Lakes Complex

Ecton Lakes is a complex of outstanding natural beauty set in 100 acres of peaceful countryside, in the Nene Valley.

The site boasts three picturesque lakes and a 1.5 mile stretch of the famous River Nene.

The untapped 'jewel' of Northamptonshire has produced carp over 40lb, tench to 11lb 2oz, double figure bream and 5lb chub. The pike fishing is as yet unknown but we are sure that in time there will be a few suprises, there is also some big rudd in the complex which are sure to provide some good sport.

Ecton Lakes is a well run fishery with sensible rules and lots of bank space, there is lots of land and features to concentrate on making Ecton the perfect fishery for the contented angler.

The lakes and river are situated just 10 minutes from junction 15 on the M1, then at junction 10 on the A45, near Billing Aquadrome.

The complex offers secure parking behind locked barriers and vehicle access close to your swim on most parts of the lakes, making it easier for transporting heavy fishing equipment or bait.

Stock is unknown on this lake but fish have been captured to 38lb 8oz common and 35lb 8oz(beautiful Linear).

This lake is a true anglers paradise, a very mature and untapped lake giving it a sense of mystery.

Clover lake is the smallest but most heavily stocked lake on site making it great for some tight lines.

1.5 Mile stretch

Reed fringed, bays, slacks and overhanging trees.

Our stretch of the river has produced carp to 25lb+, chub to 5lb and numerous 20lb+ pike.

The Nene has a great reputation for throwing up "suprise fish". Who knows what may find its way into our stretch, a real challange for the pioneering angler who wants to fish for the unknown.
